April 22, 2026. International IT company Advantix Group has successfully completed the implementation of a CUTE/CUPPS common-use platform and an automated passenger track control system at Ust-Kamenogorsk (Oskemen) Airport. The comprehensive solution has enabled the airport to significantly increase its throughput capacity, enhance passenger service quality, and strengthen aviation security.
Oskemen Airport is a key air transport hub in East Kazakhstan, serving domestic and international flights operated by four airlines. In 2025, the airport's passenger traffic grew by 14%, reaching 745,000 passengers. Amid rapidly growing passenger volumes and an increasing number of flights and destinations, the airport decided to digitally modernize its check-in and passenger control systems using Advantix Group's platform-based solutions. The implementation of CUTE/CUPPS and the multi-factor passenger control system has provided the airport with:

• simultaneous operation of multiple airlines at shared check-in counters and boarding gates, eliminating the need to assign equipment to a specific carrier and reducing resource downtime;

• support for electronic boarding passes and automated multi-factor document verification at every stage from pre-flight security screening to boarding;

• real-time tracking of each passenger across all terminal zones, including automated aviation security checks;

• a 30-40% increase in terminal throughput through dynamic resource allocation.

"When an airport's passenger traffic grows by 10% or more per year, manual counter management and paper boarding passes become a bottleneck. CUTE/CUPPS removes this constraint: any airline can be served at any counter, while the passenger control system transforms the entire terminal into a seamless digital environment – from check-in to boarding. For East Kazakhstan, this represents a fundamentally new level of infrastructure," says Timur Geydarov, Managing Director of Advantix Group in the Kazakhstan region.

"As passenger traffic grew and new airlines entered the market, we faced the need to fundamentally rethink our approach to passenger services. The implementation of CUTE/CUPPS and the passenger track control system by Advantix Group enabled us not just to automate processes, but to build an end-to-end digital workflow where every passenger is served faster and more securely. We are seeing tangible results: shorter queues, flexible use of check-in counters and boarding gates, and improved performance of security services. This is an important step in the modernization of our airport," comments Anastasia Fomenko, Head of Passenger Services at Ust-Kamenogorsk Airport.
